Suspect involved in shooting faces attempted first degree murder

A man involved in a shooting in Yuma was in court on Tuesday and now faces charges of attempted first-degree murder.

On Wednesday, May 23rd, David Muñoz was taken into custody after authorities found him at a Somerton RV park after his being involved in a vehicle shooting by Avenue A and 11th Street in Yuma. According to Yuma Police Department, two people were injured with police still looking for more potential suspects.

Muñoz is facing two felonies of attempted first-degree murder with premeditation, with a cash bond set for $250,000. His next court date is scheduled for June 1st at 4 p.m.
