15 structures damaged following fire reported in Lake Martinez area
Rural Metro Fire Department responded to a fire that damaged 15 structures at the Martinez Lake Resort RV Park around 4:42 p.m. Monday.
The fire began in one structure and quickly moved to several others, authorities said.
Charly McMurdie with Rural Metro Fire Department said RV structures are usually close to one another.
Three golf carts, three passengers vehicles were also damaged. No injuries were reported.
Yuma Proving Ground Fire Department was also on the scene assisting with the fire.
