Winter visitors festival set to take place in Los Algodones
The Festival for Winter Visitors is coming once again to Los Algodones, Baja California, Mexico.
This year’s event is on Saturday, December 9. It starts at 9 a.m. and ends at 3 p.m.
The ceremony starts at 12 p.m. The event is taking place on Second Street between Avenue A and Avenue B in Los Algodones.
The festival is sponsored by the Los Algodones Tourist and Development Committee by its president Dr. Carlos D. Rubio, with the support of doctors, general medical services, liquor stores, arts and crafts, and many others commerce, the municipal delegation, the Mexicali city hall, and the Mexicali convention and visitors bureau.
An artistic program is scheduled include the folkloric dancers from Mexicali and it’s valley such as: Cecyte Los Algodones, Cbt41, House of Culture Esplendor Group, the House of Culture from Cuervos, Club Victoria from ejido 43, folkloric dancers from Ejido Nuevo León, Mariachi singers, Pasco Mime, and a Mexican cowboys presentation.
Door prizes will be given out throughout the day’s festivities.
Admission is free.
