Shop caught fire on Highway 195 and County 13th

A shop caught fire on Highway 195 and County 13th Wednesday afternoon. Rural Metro arrived to the scene to investigate the incident.

Charly McMurdie with Rural Metro Fire Department said the fire happened just after three in the afternoon.

The structure was a total loss and the fire had spread to a nearby Bobcat which is a commercial vehicle similar to a bulldozer, only smaller.

According to McMurdie, the structure was used as a shop for someone’s business.
