Arizona Science Center takes its show on the road

According to 5th Grade Teacher Jennifer Kaste at Rancho Viejo Elementary School it was a group of donors that came together to give their students an opportunity unlike any other. For a fraction of the price that it would cost the school to bus students to Phoenix and visit the Arizona Science Center, the Science Center came to them. The Arizona Science Center offers schools their Science on Wheels programs which sends a vehicle filled with activities to schools. Students at Rancho Viejo got the opportunity to take on a variety of engineering challenges and meet with Science Center staff. Mrs. Kaste tells us that she hopes students walk away from the event with an eagerness to learn more.
