PET TALK: Meet Cleo and Junior
T onight we meet an American Pit Bull Terrier Mix named Junior and a longhaired gray and white Cat named Cleo. Junior is a two in a half year old Black and White American Pitbull Terrier Mix. Junior is known for doing his own thing. He’s a quiet and gentle guy that is not too affectionate. He enjoys going for walks and just being outside. Even though he is gentle, he can be food aggressive so its important that he is the only dog in the household. He would make the perfect companion for someone with an active lifestyle. Then we have Cleo. Cleo was found and brought into the shelter as a citizen turn-in. A beautiful long-haired cat weighing about 9 pounds. She has a sweet temperament and enjoys just being by your side. She seems like she would be a great cuddle buddy as well as the type of cat that would enjoy toys and playtime. Her age is unknown, but from watching her, she seems very active. If you are interested in either Cleo or Junior, you can call the Humane Society of Yuma at (928) 782-1621. They are open Tuesday through Saturday and while Petsmart is generally a place you can also go and adopt from, the Petsmart in Yuma is currently renovating its space and will be closed for 4-6 weeks. The Cat adoption area will still be open however dogs will only be available for adoption at the shelter location.
