YPD officers look for two suspects in armed robbery

Police are looking for two suspects who allegedly robbed a car from a man at gun point.

Yuma Police Department officers say the victim was parked and sitting in a Honda when two people pulled up in a black Ford Fusion. A person jumped out of the Ford and pointed a gun at the victim, ordered him onto the ground and demanded the car. The gunman then jumped into the Honda and both cars sped off heading south on 10th Avenue.

The incident happened in the 300 block of South 10th Avenue on Monday around 9 p.m.

Officers say the victim claims the gunman was wearing Vans-like shoes, khaki pants and a bandanna.

Anyone with information on this case is encouraged to call the YPD at (928) 373-4700 or 78-Crime to remain anonymous.
