Shooting suspect at large after sending one victim to the hospital

Yuma Police Department are looking for a suspect who is considered armed and dangerous after a shooting.

Officers say one victim was sent to Yuma Regional Medical Center shortly after 8:30 p.m.

The suspect is a dark-skinned Hispanic, 20 to 30 years of age, described 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing about 190 pounds, medium length hair and stubble facial hair. Wearing a gray t-shirt and jeans.

Third Street, from 16th Street to Magnolia Avenue, is expected to be closed off for the next several hours.
