Veterans Parade Preview

Across the country cities will celebrate our heroes in their own way and that’s no different here in the desert southwest. Each year the American Legion Post #19 hosts their annual Veterans Day Parade and like in years past the event grows more and more each year.

Thousands will line up along the parade route which stretches across Yuma’s main drag; the parade will travel south on Fourth Avenue towards 25th Street where it will head east and then south onto Virginia Drive. The Parade will end at the American Legion Post where the post will host their annual barbecue. Cost for the barbecue is $7.50
