Brothers arrested after drug bust

The Yuma County Sheriff’s Office said two brothers were arrested Thursday morning after law enforcement found drugs and drug related paraphernalia inside a home.

YCSO said investigators with the Yuma County Narcotics Task Force served a search warrant in the 2300 Block of W. 29th St. There they found 2.485 ounces of methamphetamine, 3.21 grams of heroin, two loaded syringes with heroin, and paraphernalia consistent with street sales

Brothers Hugo Alvarado, 42, and Miguel Alvarado, Jr. 36, were arrested and booked into the Yuma County Detention Center on possession of a dangerous drug for sale, possession of dangerous drugs, possession of a narcotic drug for sale, possession of narcotic drugs, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
