California man rescued from cliff trying to rescue his dog

SAN PEDRO, Calif. (CBS, KYMA/KECY) - Firefighters rescued a man who became stranded on a San Pedro cliff while trying to rescue his dog.

The rescue occurred near the area of West Warmoth St. around 7:00pm, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey.

The man was uninjured, Humphrey said.
