YUMA, Ariz. (KECY, KYMA) - Late night and early morning crossings into the Yuma Sector continue non-stop.
Ivan Romero crossed into the U.S. Friday morning, his first time ever in the country.
“I came here for an opportunity to work," Romero said.
Some migrants like the Torres brothers said getting to the border was easy.
They say they flew on a plane to Mexicali, then took an Uber to Los Algodones.
And walked into the United States with dreams for their future.
“I want to be a millionaire by the time I am 20,” Mauricio Torres said.
“There is a lot of corruption where we are from. We want to set up a better future for our next generations, thank god,” Estefano Torres said.
