Pet Talk: Meet Bam Bam and Peggy
In a brand new Pet Talk, we meet a black pit named Bam-Bam and re-introduce you to a fluffy retriever mix named Miss Peggy.
First is Bam-Bam, a black pit bull terrier. Although he has some gray near his whiskers, he isn’t as old as most onlookers might think. Estimated to be around four, Bam-Bam loves to run around outside. He’s the perfect companion to go hiking with for an active family. He does great with other dogs, he knows commands and is potty trained. Bam-Bam was found wondering the streets of Yuma back in November and has been at the shelter ever since.
Next we have Peggy. We met miss Peggy back in December and while she was adopted, she was then brought back for not getting along with the farm animals on the adopters property. If you have chickens in your yard, Peggy’s not the girl for you as she loves to chase them. She’s a golden retriever, chow-chow mix and is said to be 13 years old. She loves the outdoors and still has a lot of life still left in her.
If you are interested either Bam-Bam or Peggy, you can call the Humane Society of Yuma at (928) 782-1621. They are open Tuesday through Sunday. For more information you can head to Madison Kimbro’s facebook page @Madisonkyma.
