Commercial structure fire reported on Pine Avenue

Firefighters battled a blaze at a commercial structure in Holtville Thursday night.

The Holtville Fire Department said the fire started behind the 7-11 convenience store in the 500 Block of Pine Ave. just before 10 p.m.

The fire chief said it could have originated from a panel, but they’re still looking into exactly what caused the blaze. The commercial structure had several construction projects inside, making it harder to determine the exact cause of the fire

Multiple fire agencies responded to the scene.
