Report says AZ workers more likely to take time off

Each year, the U.S. Travel Association and AAA release their Project: Time Off report which shows the amount of vacation time that goes unused by employees. According to the latest numbers 54 percent of Americans failed to use vacation time. That relates to 662 million days of lost vacation days and $66.4 billion dollars lost in unused vacation time. According to the report Arizona workers were among the top of the least for those taking advantage of time off.

According to their finding only 41 percent of workers failed to use their vacation time. Idaho and New Hampshire lead the country in workers failing to use their vacation time. According to the report one of the top excuses was that their companies paint a negative light on those using time off.
