Sex offender moves into new place

The Yuma County Sheriff’s Office would like to inform the community convicted sex offender has a new address.

Samuel J. Thorne, 25, is now living at 2450 West Water St. Space #N12 Yuma, Arizona.

Thorne pleas guilty to sexual assault 2nd degree in Cleburne County Court. The victim was a 12-year-old female who was known to him.

Deputies say Thorne was sentenced to 120 months in the Arkansas Department of Corrections. He is currenlty under the supervision of the Arizona Department of Corrections parole via interstate compact.

Thorne is a level 2 sex offender with a medium risk to reoffend.
