The video of a passenger being dragged off a flight by airport employees has gone viral and has left many travelers placing United Airlines on a no fly list of their own. It happened on Monday morning when a passenger was asked to vacate his seat; airline employees told the passenger that they have overbooked the flight and needed four passengers to leave in order to accommodate four United Airline employees from another flight.
Now, at first the passenger agreed to leave voluntarily, but once he was made aware that the next flight was hours later he sat back down. That’s when airline staff and airport security became aggressive and dragged the man out of his seat and out of the plane.
Video of the assault has gone viral and created a movement among travelers who frequent United Airlines calling on them to cut up their United Credit Cards and post the picture on social media. The event has even hurt the company’s stock dropping by 4% in the last day.
