Lindsay Clancy to return to court following mistrial

(CNN, KYMA) - For the first time since her mistrial, Lindsay Clancy is set to be back in court Tuesday.

Clancy was accused of killing her three children, but the case ended in a mistrial earlier this month.

She is scheduled to appear in court for a status conference, which will focus on how the divisive case will proceed, including the possibility of a new trial.

Prosecutors have not announced whether they will retry Clancy, who admitted to killing her children while suffering from postpartum psychosis.

Legal experts said both sides are likely considering whether another jury would reach the same conclusion as they did in the first trial.

Last Sunday, Clancy's ex-husband, Patrick, sat down for an exclusive interview with 60 Minutes, where he discussed his unbearable grief after losing his children.
