Nightclub shooting suspect agrees to plea deal

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - One of the suspects involved in a shooting at Platinum Cabaret agreed to a plea deal with the state.

23-year-old Jiovanny Isaiah Ochoa was charged with eight felonies including three counts of attempted murder and three counts of aggravated assault.

Court documents state that Ochoa was the alleged getaway driver in a shooting at Platinum nightclub in March of last year.

He's pleading guilty to one count of aggravated assault.

Ochoa will formally learn his sentence on April 8 where he will learn how long he will spend behind bars.
