YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - All seven Imperial Valley League (IVL) Flag Football teams were in action Wednesday night as the season enters its final month of play.

The San Diego Padres completed their revenge against the Chicago Cubs, sweeping their NL Wild Card series rematch after falling to the Cubs last season.

Padres will take on the Milwaukee Brewers beginning on Saturday. Brewers finished with MLB best regular season record of 103-59.

Meanhile, the Arizona Diamondbacks narrowly missed the post season, missing out on clinching the final spot in game 162.

However, the Diamondbacks have a whole other problem to address, the expiring contract of longtime manager Torey Lovullo.
