NBC 11 Sports: Somerton Night Bowl highlights growing flag football scene

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - The inaugural Somerton Night Bowl showcased some of the Southwest's top flag football talent Saturday night at Perricone Park.

Bringing together 10 teams from Arizona and Southern California for a late-night tournament under the iFLAG circuit.

Meanwhile in Major League Baseball, the Arizona Diamondbacks closed out their three-game series against the Los Angeles Dodgers with a 4-2 victory Sunday at Chase Field.

Ketel Marte's two-run homer in the first inning gave Arizona an early lead, while Eduardo Rodriguez struck out Shohei Ohtani to open the game and tossed a strong outing on the mound. Kevin Ginkel sealed the win in the ninth inning as the Diamondbacks claimed the series and continued their push in the National League Wild Card race.
