NFL suspends two officials for unprofessional conduct

NEW YORK (KYMA) - The NFL has suspended two veteran officials for what the league is calling unprofessional conduct toward players during two separate games.

Line judge Jeff Seeman has been suspended for two games following Sunday's matchup between the Arizona Cardinals and New York Giants.

According to the league, Seeman allegedly cursed at Cardinals tight end Trey McBride after McBride argued for a pass interference penalty against the Giants.

The NFL also suspended referee Adrian Hill for one game following the Minnesota Vikings game against the Miami Dolphins.

During the game, Vikings linebacker Eric Wilson collided with Hill, knocking the referee to the ground.

Wilson offered to help Hill back to his feet, but Hill got up on his own before having an animated reaction toward Wilson.

Both Seeman and Hill are veteran officials who have worked in the NFL for multiple seasons.

The suspensions come as the league continues to emphasize professionalism and appropriate conduct between officials and players.
