State of Arizona launches testing dashboard for prisons

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation and Reentry (ADCRR) has launched a dashboard tracking coronavirus (COVID-19) within the prison system.

The dashboard includes data reflecting the number of inmate deaths related to the virus, as well as the number of ADCRR staff members who have reported testing positive.

ADCRR says the dashboard will also reflect the number of staff members who have been medically cleared to return to work.

So far, seven Yuma County inmates have been tested, and none have returned positive.

In all of Arizona, 211 inmates have been tested and 63 have returned positive. ADCRR says there are five preliminary deaths due to coronavirus thus far. Three have recovered.

46 ADCRR staff have tested positive, and of those, 24 have recovered.

You can visit the ADCRR coronavirus dashboard here.
