Interstate 8 eastbound open, westbound closed east of Yuma

UPDATE- Both directions of Interstae 8 are now open east of Yuma, according to ADOT.

The temporary closure was due to a crash.

PHOENIX – The eastbound lanes of Interstate 8 are now open east of Yuma at milepost 25, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

However, the westbound lanes remain closed at milepost 30 due to a crash.

Motorists are advised to expect delays and seek an alternate route.

There is no estimated time to reopen the highway.
