Clark County district attorney reacts to man convicted of killing Tupac Shakur

LAS VEGAS (KYMA, NBC) - Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson is holding a press conference Tuesday morning.

According to NBC News, this is in regards to a jury finding Duane "Keffe D" Davis guilty of first-degree murder Monday for orchestrating the killing of Tupac Shakur nearly 30 years ago.

The verdict came three hours after the prosecution and defense presented closing arguments following Davis' trial.

The Shakur family reacted to the verdict saying, "This is not the end of the story. Tupac's legacy and impact on the world lives on and we will continue to do everything we can to keep his spirit alive."

Davis, 63, will be back in court on October 13 for sentencing, where he is facing life in prison. However, Davis said he will appeal the verdict.
