Health officials confirm 41 new coronavirus cases in Yuma County
No additional deaths
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Yuma County District Health *(YCHD) confirmed another 41 cases of coronavirus Wednesday. That brings the countywide total to 838. Health officials reported no additional deaths.
Once again the 20-44 age group saw the largest increase in cases. It grew by another 20. Right now 45% of the county's patients fall within this age group.
People between the ages of 45 and 54 make up the second largest patient group. This is contrary to the state average. Most of Arizona's cases are in people over the age of 65.

Arizona currently has 17,262 cases of coronavirus. The illness is blamed for 831 deaths across the state, including 13 in Yuma County.
