Fox 9 and Karnas Law Firm announce winner of first Picture Perfect Mom contest
Patricia Gomez-Vasquez receives gift basket courtesy and the love of her family this Mother's Day
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Karla Melendez says that she frequently follows the FOX 9 Intagram page and once she read about the Picture Perfect Mom contest she had to enter her mom. Karla submitted a picture of she and her mom from her childhood.
Karla wrote about their struggles, which included domestic violence. Her mom, Patricia Gomez-Vasquez, also survived stage-4 breast cancer while raising four kids on her own.
Karla appreciates her mom, and Karnas Law Firm appreciated her sentiment, choosing Patricia as "Picture Perfect Mom" for 2021. On Friday, it awarded her with gift basket full of goodies, including beauty treatments.
