Kelly continues to out-raise McSally

Arizona Democrat Mark Kelly has out-raised Republican Senator Martha McSalley for a third straight quarter.

Kelly and McSally are facing off in one of the most hotly contested 2020 Senate races.

His campaign says he raised $5.5-million between July and September. That brings his total fundraising for the race to nearly $14-million. That’s considered a huge haul for a first-time candidate.

McSally’s campaign says she brought in around $3-million during the same time period. She’s raised about $11-million for the campaign so far.

Kelly is a former space shuttle commander. He’s married to former U.S. Representative Gabbie Giffords.

McSally lost her last Senatorial race to Kyrsten Sinema. Arizona Governor Doug Ducey then appointed her to John McCain’s
Senate seat after he passed away.
