Bahamas woman brings 97 dogs into home to protect them from Hurricane Dorian
A woman in Nassau, Bahamas has opened her home to 97 rescue dogs to protect them from the Hurricane Dorian.
WFTS reports Chella Phillips has helped save nearly 1,000 homeless and abandoned dogs in the Bahamas in the last four years. Phillips wrote this on her Facebook page:
“97 dogs are inside my house and 79 of them are inside my master bedroom.
It has been insane since last night, poop and piss non stop but at least they are respecting my bed and nobody has dared to jump in,” Phillips said.
According to reports, Phillips said she lost power and had a little water come into her home but everyone is okay.
