Motive remains a mystery in Vegas mass shooting
A motive remains a mystery in the deadliest mass shooting in US history, according to the FBI.
The FBI said officials are not able to determine why Stephen Paddock opened fire from his hotel suite on October 1, 2017, into a crowd of people attending an outdoor concert in Las Vegas.
Fifty-eight people died and nearly 900 were injured.
The FBI said Paddock acted alone in planning and carrying out the attack and the reason still remains unknown after months of study by agents and behavioral specialists.
