Voting by mail? Check your status online

If you want to make sure that your ballot has been accounted for, the Arizona Secretary of State’s Office will let you look up its status.

You can check ballot status by clicking here.

However, if your early ballot was dropped off Monday or Tuesday at the recorder’s office, the status will not show until it is processed once the polls are closed and are counted the next day, according to Robyn Pouquette, with the Yuma County Recorder’s Office.

Throughout Yuma County , there are nearly 80,000 registered voters and of them , about 29,000 have sent their early ballots through the mail.

Taking a closer look at those numbers, 43 percent (10,187) of early ballots counted so far are Republican in Yuma County. Early ballots sent in by Democrats account for 33 percent (7,761).

The average age for the voter in Yuma is 64-years-old, according to the Arizona Secretary of State’s Office.
