Sex offender files new address with YPD
A level three sex offender has changed his address in Yuma.
The Yuma Police Department said Austin Wilcher, 23, is now living in the 600 Block of S. Orange Avenue in Yuma.
Wilcher is described as 5 feet, 7 inches tal, 140 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
YPD said on January 27, 2009, Wilcher was convicted on one count of Taking Indecent Liberties with a minor, Attempted 2 nd Degree Rape and Sexual Offense.
On December 30, 2014, Wilcher entered a plea agreement in the Yuma County Superior Court on one count of Sexual Abuse and one count of Attempted Sexual Abuse.
YPD said Wilcher is a level three sex offender. Level three sex offenders have a high-risk to re-offend.
