It is said to be one of President Donald J. Trump’s favorite publications and it’s even rumored that a stack of Time magazines can be found in the front lobby of Trump Towers. President Trump has been featured on the cover over a dozen times and in 2016 was named Time magazines “Person of the Year”.
However, the latest issue may not be added to the president’s collection since it depicts a artist’s rendering of Russia’s Kremlin (their version of White House) consuming the White House. According to Time magazine the cover is a reflection of growing concerns over President Trump’s connection to Russian Tzar Vladamir Putin and Russia’s possible involvement in the 2016 elections.
Over the past nine decades Time magazine has been no stranger to controversy; in 1923 Adolf Hitler was crowned “Person of the Year” and even Vladamir Putin has graced the cover in 2007, 2014 and was a runner-up in 2016.
