Gray Thursday brought out shoppers in droves

At first glance the Best Buy store at the Yuma Palms looks a lot like a stampede waiting to happen; but, a closer look reveals that the store’s team had everything under control. Crew members identified what customers were looking for before they entered the store and only let in a few people at a time so the lines wouldn’t get long. We spoke to one customer who’s in Yuma on vacation and says that shopping at home means shopping in the rain for hours on end; in total she spent a half hour in line.
