Two sent to hospital after crash
Accident happened Monday afternoon just after one in the intersection of Pacific Avenue and Gila Ridge Road. According to the Yuma Police Department the coupe and the sedan had crashed in the intersection and an suv then struck after the initial collision.
The driver of the coupe and a passenger in the sedan were taken to the hospital; officers had to close Gila ridge Road to 16th St. and rerouted traffic around the collision. The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
