Footage shows elderly woman rescued 17 hours after quake
ELAZIG, Turkey (KYMA, KECY) - After enduring 17 hours under earthquake debris, a Turkish woman managed to stay alive.
The 6.7 magnitude quake rattled eastern Turkey Friday, killing at least 39 people.
Footage released by the Humanitarian Relief Foundation shows as the elderly woman is slowly pulled from a deep hole in the debris.
She is then taken to an ambulance in a stretcher by rescue workers.
Rescuers continue their search for survivors trapped under rubble from collapsed buildings.
