Toys R Us trying to make a comeback
After declaring bankruptcy and closing more than 800 stores including one in Yuma, Toys-R-Us could be making a comeback.
A group of investors is trying to reboot the famous toy retailer along with the Babies R Us brand, according to recent court filings.
Back in June, nearly 800 stores closed after the company filed for bankruptcy leaving 31,000 workers jobless.
The company said it wants to create a new operating business in the United States under the Toys R Us and Babies R Us names. No details have been disclosed on how the brands could be brought back to life.
Previous plans to auction off the rights to both brands were canceled, even after receiving many offers.
