Yuma International Airport to offer new connecting flights
The skies the limit as the Yuma International Airport announced Tuesday that there will be new connecting flights next year.
The Yuma International Airport will now offer connecting flights to Dallas Ft. Worth International Airport starting March 2019.
Those traveling to the East Coast will now have a much easier time traveling to that region. The new aircraft will be a CRJ900, which gives passengers additional first-class seating with 64 seats in economy and about nine seats in first class.
In the past couple of years, Yuma has seen a variety of flights come and go. With this new connection to Dallas Ft. Worth International, the airport now hopes this will greatly impact the community and economy while also allowing the public to travel domestically and internationally with ease.
“Going into Dallas Fort. Worth, people are looking at connectivity to about 95 additional domestic flights and on top of that 42 international flights,” said Gladys Brown, Yuma International Airport Director.
The process of adding another connecting flight to the airport has been four years in the making. Brown added that the public can start booking flights from Yuma international to Dallas and onward as soon as October 5th, 2018.
