Possible suspects in custody following alleged school threat
The possible suspects linked to the alleged threats made to Brawley Union High School Monday are now in custody.
Through a Facebook post, Brawley High School officials thanked the Brawley Police Department for their quick response and ongoing efforts to moderate a threat of violence made towards Brawley Union High School. They added that are currently no safety concerns about student attendance at any of the district school campuses.
Increased security and law enforcement presence have been implemented for the safety of the students.
All schools are expected to remain in session and a crisis team has been assembled for any students dealing with any fear or anxiety relating to the situation.
Officials are recommending that any unusual behavior should be reported to the school district administration and the Brawley Police Department.
