Man arrested for allegedly damaging a dozen local businesses
The man accused of damaging at least a dozen businesses last week has been arrested and identified as Jesse Carrillo.
Carrillo was booked into the Yuma County Detention Center on August 26 at 6:45 a.m. and is being held on a $50,000 cash only bond.
He is being charged with three counts of burglary, two counts of theft, one count of theft of means of transportation and of criminal damage, all of which are felonies.
Carrillo is also being charged with two misdemeanor counts of criminal damage.
Carrillo is expected to be in court on September 5 at 4 p.m.

ORIGINAL STORY: Local businesses affected by criminal damages
In the early hours of Sunday morning, the Yuma Police Department received multiple reports of damage to about a dozen local businesses.
The businesses were near the central part of the city from about the 1500 block of 5th Avenue to the 2800 block of 4th Avenue.
These reports all involved a rock that was thrown through windows of the business.
