Yuma agents apprehend aggravated felon

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Yuma Sector Border Patrol agents apprehended an aggravated felon after illegally crossing the U.S. on Monday morning.

Agents say 38-year-old Fidel Enrique Caceres-Hernandez was one of two migrants apprehended 17 miles east of the San Luis Port of Entry. His record checks revealed the Salvadorian man is an aggravated felon who served two years in a prison in California.

They say this is not the first time Caceres-Hernandez has been removed from the U.S. Agents said he would be prosecuted for re-entering after a judge previously removed him.
