YPD investigating armed robbery

The Yuma Police Department is investigating another armed robbery at a convenience store. YPD said Saturday at 4:55 a.m. officers responded to the Circle K at 2089 S. Avenue A in Yuma in reference to an armed robbery.

Officers said the initial investigation showed a woman threatened the clerk with a hand gun. The suspect fled the scene, with an undisclosed of money, and has not been located at this time.

The suspect was described as a female, wearing a black long sleeve shirt, light blue colored jeans and black converse shoes. The suspect also had a black bandana covering her face.
No injuries were reported reference this case.
