The details of an attack at one of the nation’s largest universities sounds more like scenes from a horror movie. This morning a man drove his car into a crowd of pedestrians at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.
According to witnesses the driver deliberately drove into the crowd, then got out of his car and began slashing at people using a large knife. A police officer nearby confronted the knife wielding assailant who refused to comply and was shot and killed.
During the incident OSU Emergency Management tweeted “run hide fight” to their students. In total 9 people were cut during the attack, all of which were taken to the hospital; one of which received severe injuries and is listed in critical condition.
