NBC 11 Sports: Cardinals honor franchise legend Larry Fitzgerald

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - The Arizona Cardinals honored franchise legend Larry Fitzgerald on Sunday, inducting him into the team’s Ring of Honor and retiring his No. 11 jersey during halftime against the Denver Broncos.

Fitzgerald, who spent 17 seasons in Arizona and ranks second all-time in NFL receptions and receiving yards, called the ceremony an emotional moment shared with the community he calls home.

The celebration came as the Cardinals fell to the Broncos 30-16, extending their franchise-record home losing streak to 10 games.
