Canadian woman sets new world record with five-hour plank

ST. GEORGE, Utah (CBS, KYMA) - A 61-year-old Canadian woman was credited with setting a new world record for her hours-long plank during the World Senior Games in Utah Tuesday.

Footage showed DonnaJean Wilde crossing the five-hour mark at the Utah Tech M Anthony Burns Arena, officially giving her the title of longest female abdominal plank holder in the world.

A spokesperson for the World Senior Games told Storyful that the judges were on hour-long shifts, and rotated out several times between the start of Wilde’s plank at 3:03 p.m. Mountain, and the record break at approximately 8:03 p.m. Mountain

Wilde broke her own record of four hours and 30 minutes, which she set in 2024, according to the Guinness Book of World Records.
