NBC 11 Sports: Gila Ridge and Cibola make history with first AIA flag football game in Yuma County

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - The Gila Ridge Hawks and Cibola Raiders made Yuma athletics history as the first programs to play an AIA-sanctioned flag football game in the city.

Cibola cruised to a 20-0 victory over Gila Ridge. Meanwhile, on the road, Yuma High throttled Coronado 50-7.

The Los Angeles Dodgers clinched the playoffs for a 14th straight season, tying the MLB record for the longest streak.

The Hondo Rodeo Fest in Phoenix is a couple months away.
