NBC 11 Sports: Brawley High School gears up for another season under new head coach

The Wildcats gear up for another campaign under first time Head Coach Bert Esposito after a 9-2 season and Somerton native Carolina Moreno gets honored as stud wrestler.

BRAWLEY, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - Brawley High School Head Coach Bert Esposito takes the reigns as the Wildcats prepare for their home opener this Friday against Rancho Bernardo.

In other football news, Yuma High's football preview airs Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Somerton native Carolina Moreno got honored for her success as a wrestler, earning multiple state, national and collegiate championships.

Somerton City Council announced that August 18 will be considered Carolina Moreno day.
