NEWS 11 SPORTSCAST: Local wrestlers shine at state championships, Yuma Catholic falls in 3A Soccer title

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Gila Ridge's Kennedy and Cannon Farrar made history as the second brother-sister duo to win state wrestling titles in the same year.

Yuma Catholic's Khel Lipumano capped off his career with his third championship, while Kaliyah Molina won her first.

In soccer, Gilbert Christian edged Yuma Catholic 2-1 in the 3A state championship, scoring the game-winner in the final minutes.

Meanwhile, Arizona Western rallied past Cochise College 56-52, fueled by Matt Anglo's 21 points, moving the Matadors into a tie for second place in the conference standings.
