Dry and tranquil weather returns ahead of Super Bowl

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - An upper-level low pressure system will slowly depart east of the region tonight into Sunday, marking the end of our rainy pattern and resulting in a return of dry and tranquil weather.

A ridge of high pressure will build over the Desert Southwest early next week, promoting a warming trend with afternoon high temperatures rising back to normal levels by the middle of next week.
