Devin Booker scores 47 points as Suns advance in NBA playoffs for first time in more than a decade

LOS ANGELES, Calif. ( KYMA, KECY-TV ) - Los Angeles Lakers forward Anthony Davis was a game time decision ahead of Game 6 at the Staples Center on Thursday night. While Davis got the start, he didn't last long and exited the game before the end of the first quarter. Davis would not return. While the Lakers were not running on all cylinders, the Phoenix Suns, especially Devin Booker were.

Booker scored 22 points in the first quarter and finished the first half with 33 points. The Suns lead by over 30 points and coasted to a 113-100, eliminating the defending champions from postseason play. For the Suns, it's their first series win in over a decade. Up next, the Suns will prepare for the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference Semifinals.
